Clio and MyCase automation: make your practice-management system the trigger
Clio and MyCase hold the truth about your cases: who the parties are, what stage the matter is in, and where documents belong. Most automation in a law firm should start there and end there. A matter changes, something useful happens, and the result is filed back to the matter.
We build those integrations. They connect Clio or MyCase to your mailbox, Microsoft Teams or Slack, AI agents, and any other system with an API.
What our Clio and MyCase integrations do
- Start work when a matter changes. Webhooks from Clio or MyCase notify the integration when a matter reaches a stage, so the workflow starts without anyone clicking a button.
- Pause work when a matter changes back. If a case moves back, the integration pauses the workflow instead of continuing to email parties.
- Read case details from your custom fields. We map the fields your firm uses, such as claim number, policy number, property address, date of loss and carrier, so automations use the same data your team does.
- File documents to the matter. Documents that arrive by email are saved to the correct case, so the matter stays the system of record.
- Keep the connection alive. OAuth tokens are refreshed and webhooks renewed on a schedule, so the integration doesn't quietly stop working weeks later.
How we handle Clio and MyCase access and security
- OAuth, not passwords. An authorized user at your firm approves access on Clio's or MyCase's own sign-in screen. We never ask for your practice-management password.
- Least access. Each integration requests only the access its job needs.
- Verified webhooks. Incoming webhook calls are checked against a shared secret before the integration acts on them.
- Writes held until you approve. During setup and testing, writes to your case-management system can be switched off, so nothing lands in a live matter until you confirm.

Common Clio and MyCase automation projects
Typical candidates for a Clio or MyCase integration:
- Requesting and collecting documents when a matter reaches a stage, then following up on what is still missing.
- Creating a review task for an attorney when a file is complete.
- Syncing case data into a dashboard your team actually checks.
- Posting a daily summary of case activity to Teams or Slack.
- Connecting intake forms so new leads become new contacts or matters.

How a Clio or MyCase integration project works
Custom integrations follow the same path as every project. On a free 20-minute call, we confirm what your Clio or MyCase plan and setup allow. The AI workflow audit maps the workflow, lists the fields and permissions involved, and gives each piece a scope and price. The build includes testing with case-management writes switched off before go-live. Ongoing support keeps the integration working as either platform changes.
